Awesome. How is the brazilian? I heard it was heavy chemicals. What did you think about it? I've been getting Japanese, but I don't want permanent anymore.

Re: brazilian hair straightening- salons?
I was told the chemicals are much less harsh than the japanese. I have never had japanese hair straightening. My hair is frizzy and wavy not really curly. I was tired of blow drying it and flat ironing it and then feeling it looked all fried. The first 4 days of not being able to wash it or tie it back was pure hell. At first when I was styling my hair I was not thrilled because I thought the front looked TOO flat but now that I have a handle on it I love it. It looks so shiny and healthy and it seriously takes me not eve 5 minutes to style my hair. If I just wash it and dont blow dry it, it still has a wave to it so it is not pin straight which I like. It still holds a curl if I want it to. The only thing I had to change was my shampoo but I bought that right at the salon. I have gotten compliments on how healthy and shiny my hair now looks and I feel like I no longer struggle with it. I originally thought I would just blow dry it and it would be perfectly styled--well that isnt the truth, I still have to just spend a few minutes shaping the top and the ends but no where near as much time as before and I am always happier with the results. It only lasts 4 months so if you hate it, you dont have to live with it for too long. I definitly think I will get it done again.

I got it done and thought it was a little expensive for something that only lasts a few months. Please post soem what you paid and the length of your hair. You don't have to say where you had it done.
Thanks!

Re: brazilian hair straightening- salons?
Hmmm, I'm confused about what this wave will look like. I like the front to be straight, otherwise it looks funky. In all honestly, I think I will try it because I kind of want to go back to curly and right now my hair is half straight and half curly and it's lookin' totally ugly.
