Brazilian Keratin Treatment - Q for those who've had it

I just got BKT done on Saturday and I'm still in the first 4 days where you can't wash it or put any products in it. My stylist told me to flat iron any kinks/bends that might happen from sleeping on my hair.

Well, I think my flat iron may have messed up my new BKT hair Chat Icon I also got my hair cut on Saturday, so the ends were nice and perfect. After ironing my ends yesterday, I noticed this morning that they look really dry and I even noticed a few split ends.

I'm hoping they look better once I wash it tomorrow, but has this happened to anyone else? I'm scared of my flat iron now Chat Icon

so you opted for the straightening? Did you gut it short?

sorry, I have no advice about it, just curious?

Did DH like it?

It's about 5" past my shoulder, so it's still on the long side, but definitely much shorter than it was. After talking to a friend who chopped her hair off a few years ago, I realized that the shorter hairstyle would be much more effort than I might want to put in on a regular basis. So I opted to keep it at a length where I could put it in a ponytail if I want. I showed it to DH when I got home and he really liked it. Chat Icon

I am on day three and cannot wait to wash it! I used the iron but did not notice any damage. Call the salon and check wiith them.
