Brazillion wax at 9 months pregnant. Yay or nay
Has anyone done this? I really want to feel clean and I don't want to worry post partum about hair. Although I hear you are more sensitive and it really hurts.

I did it one week before giving birth. I didn't think it hurt as much but I think it's because my mind was distracted.

I've never gotten waxed and definitely can't imagine doing it pregnant but that's just me. I shave and wasn't at all concerned with or bothered by dealing with things down there after giving birth. I had too many other things on my mind to even think about that.

I am having a cs on Tuesday and am scheduled for my last wax on Saturday. I have gone for years and I don't think its any more sensitive now.

I am someone who gets them maybe once or twice a year, but I also think in this scenario a little hair might be good. (I wouldn't go completely bald.) Hair is supposed to protect against infections, etc. I plan on shaving as normal and trimming.
I just read your other post about itching and I would maybe not upset the area if you're already uncomfortable.

I get them done monthly (and have been for years). I have sensitive skin to begin with so I am red for hours after. The last time I went it did hurt more after. During the waxing is the same. My skin after is a different story.

I have routinely gotten them done/did them myself, for the past 10 years. It was 100% without a doubt more painful while pregnant. Still wouldn't deter me - especially with not being able to see down there! I didn't want them to have to shave me in the hospital and then worry about irritation, etc. (my skin does not tolerate shaving well in that area).

I wanted to do it, but waxing became WAY too painful for me since getting pregnant. I was red forever and it really hurt. I don't want to risk anything or be put through that before L&D lol... so unfortunately, a nay for me.

I have always shaved down there and I will do the same thing after the baby is born. Maybe I'll make my DH help me...lol

I've routinely had them done for years and I don't think they are any more painful than when I'm not pg. Had them all throughout my pregnancy with my ds and have had them throughout this one as well. You may be more sensitive if you're not used to it but IMO it's well worth it.
