He is probably leaving so the show can go down the tubes and he can come in with his X-Factor show that he owns the rights to.
If he brings X-Factor in to replace Idol, he would stand to make more.
It's all about the $$$$$$.

Agreed. Randy rarely has anything useful to say. I can't stand the Sandra Bernhardt look-alike. Ellen isn't a musician or involved in the industry to my knowledge. Simon was the only one I actually enjoyed hearing.

Uch....I was hoping that the rumors weren't going to be true. Simon is the only judge who has anything useful to say. Granted, Ellen is a unknown factor so far, but Randy and Kara are beyond useless. I don't know if I will continue to watch. I will probably try it, but I have a feeling it's going to be a big snooze without him.

I haven't watched Idol in years.. as far as I'm concerned, that show has been over for me for a long time.. I think it's just time to cut ties at this point
