Breaking News (Glen Cove Residents)
Breaking News The Glen Cove mayor's office now says residents should not consume any of the city's water. A boil-water advisory had been in effect earlier, but now city officials say the water should not be consumed for any purposes at all. This includes cooking or drinking the water after boiling. However, representatives from the mayor's office say it is OK to shower. Stay tuned to News 12 Long Island and News12.com for more on this developing story.

DH works in Glen Cove and he said the Firehouse was offering free water. He got there and they said they didn't have it yet.

That happened up in Bayville the day of my wedding too, they had to go to the store during my ceremony to get tons of bottled water and all of the water fountains were covered with caution signs - gotta love caution signs in your wedding pics!
