Breast Augmentation ladies...
I'm setting up a consultation with a doctor. Which procedure is better and what is the difference (above the muscle/below the muscle)? Any help would be greatly appreciated

a friend of mine had this done not long ago. and honestly---all your questions are best left to be answered by your doctor. she had so many questions and was researching things---talking to friends & neighbors who had it done--and everyone had something different to say. in the end, the best person who answered her questions truthfully & honestly....was the doc. because everyone's body is different. like some ppl were swearing by an incision under the nipple---and the doc let her know that wouldn't work for her -- and it should be under the breast.
research your doc up and down and make sure you are comfortable with them. that is what she did....and it made her feel very secure in her decision

I dont have them (God knows) but I have read under the muscle is better. Less Posh spice looking if you KWIM.

I had it done...April will be 2 years. All I have to say is RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH!!! Like everyone said your doctor should know what's best for your body. Make sure you know what you want but at the sametime don't go with a doc who will do whatever the patient wants...does that make sense? My opinion is they look more natural under the muscle.

Where are you going for this? I have been researching this as well...and think that I might do this sooner rather than later....depending on a few other things panning out.

I had mine done almost 7 years ago. I had mine placed under the muscle the dr explained if I wanted to breast feed that would be the best. ( I had a baby and I was able to breast feed)

Mine are not under the muscle and nobody would know that they weren't real. It depends on how much tissue you have. I had a lot of undeveloped breast tissue making over the muscle the best choice for me. Your doctor will know which is best for your situation.

about half my bridal party had breast aug and all went through the nipple except for one....who went under the muscle. I'm going for my own consult next month. There is a great dr. in great neck.... FM if interested
