breast/bottle feeding
does anyone plan to breastfeed and bottle feed? i want to be able to leave the house and not worry about rushing home to feed my baby. Also when im in class or working.....is anyone going to do this? Im not sure if im better off just starting on bottles right away ...with breastmilk of course. Opinions please

Re: breast/bottle feeding
I do this, and have from the beginning. We also supplement with formula, because I do not produce milk from my left, so I don't always have enough for him, even with pumping.
I got the Adiri bottle and it works wonders. It made him work for his milk so he was not having issues latching & feeding from "the tap".

Re: breast/bottle feeding
I did this from the beginning b/c the first week she would not latch on at all, so I pumped & bottle fed her (w/ bm).
I still try to have her latch on at least once a day but usually its when I have time & we're relaxed; if not we give her the bottle. I've had no problems.

Re: breast/bottle feeding
I do this as well. In the hospital, they wanted me to supplement with formula since she was so small. I had trouble getting her to latch on to me- so I pump and feed her BM from a bottle. I dont quite have enough supply to feed her BM exclusively, so I still supplement with formula- but I only anticipate doing that for another week or so.
