Breast Changes?? lumps
I have heard you can get more lumps on your breast during pregnancy.
So I have had this small little bump I felt since like around 8 wks ( I am now 17 wks) and it's still there.
When I asked my Dr about it at our 8 wk appt, he just dismissed it and wouldn't even check it out and said that's common. He said "if it gets larger then let me know"
It hasn't gotten any larger, just now more sensitive to the touch. I will def bring this up to him again!!!
Has anyone experienced this?????
I have googled like crazy, and know it's common changes but I also just get panicked of cancer.
Also, I was on progesterone for the 1st 13 wks, and side effect can be lumps in breast. I know I am answering my own questions, but just wanted reassurance.

Re: Breast Changes?? lumps
I am almost 32wks and I just noticed last week that I felt a little lump. Of course, I almost fainted, was feeling myself up every 5 min's, etc.. but since then it has got much smaller and softer so I have read it is most likely a clogged milk duct. I am going to the doctor tonight and will ask him anyway to take a look.
I am sure if it was anything, your doctor would have suggested going for further tests, but for peace of mind I would 100% bring it up again to him or her and ask to take another look.
I hear it is very common though.

Thank you ! I know later in the 3rd it's most likely clogged ducts. I def need the Dr to check it out.

Re: Breast Changes?? lumps
I have them but they are more towards my underarm. I got them with my 1st DS also and my OB said not to worry.
They never really went away from my 1st PG and I have them again this time around.

Re: Breast Changes?? lumps
I actually found a lump a month before I got pregnant and went to my GP about it. She checked it out and something she said to me I think might help you feel better:
If it hurts, it's not cancer.
My lump was really painful. She said it was just a cyst and chalked it up to my long cycle and said it would probably go away when AF came... of course AF never came since I got pregnant instead lol. The lump was about the size of a pencil eraser back in March and it's way smaller now but still hurts when I press on it. My OB doesn't seem worried about it at all so I won't.
Many hugs!!!

That is good to know, it is sore to the touch.
