Breast Feeding and getting ready to wean

I am breastfeeding my DD, she is 7 months and I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. I do get nervous about what is going to happen when i decide it is time to stop. She gets the rare bottle on occasion if I am not home or for some juice if she has issues going to the bathroom. I tried a sippy cup of pear juice the other day, but she just chewed on the spout and thought it was better to keep throwing it. I guess I am asking what are things i should start doing in the next few months to make the transition easier. I hope breastfeed her until she is a year maybe longer.....then again no teeth are in yet and i am scared about her biting too!

my dd is amost 10 mos and drinks from a straw now, as far as weaning I'd like to let her self wean but would like her to stop before the next baby.

We Breast Fed a LONG tim and had NO biting issues
