breast pads/nursing pads

Does anyone know if they make flesh-colored nursing pads?

I still need to wear them everyday because of leaking incidents (which DH reminds me I should be thankful I have enough if not too much BM for DC), but they are very noticeable under my shirts. I use the thinnest ones I could find (Gerber), but they still look like big silver dollars through my clothes.

I don't notice it most days (actually I probably do realize it but I don't care most days), but I need to find a solution before I go back to work in two weeks!

Did you try Lansinoh ones? I find them to be the thinnest.

Yes, I have used the Lansinoh ones which have the adhesive on them. I have found they're more noticeable due to their shape...For my regular, non-nursing bras most of the pads are unnoticeable. When I go back to work I'm planning on continuing to use the nursing bras so I can more easily pump while at the office. I think I'll need to just use a regular/demi bra and take the extra time to set up before and after I pump while I'm away from DC.
Thanks!

I've tried the Gerber, the Lansinoh, the Avent, and the Medela pads. IMHO, the Lansinoh are the best of the bunch.

I've been using Lilypadz - they've been much better than any other nursing pads I've tried.

Re: breast pads/nursing pads

You might also want to try the cotton washable ones. They would probably be less noticeable than the disposable ones.

Re: breast pads/nursing pads

I BFed for only 2 weeks (but leaked for a lot longer) but I made myself crazy trying to figure this out. I think that the visiblity has more to do with the bra than the pad sometimes. I remember that I liked the Lansinoh pads and the weird off brand that the hospital gave me.

I agree w/ Kerie, I found the bra had more to do w/ it than the pads.

I too like the Lansolin ones though

I think wearing a thinly padded bra is the best way to hide nursing pads.

ITA too! And unfortunately I too see them under my clothes. I ordered some new bras to try that have a light lining (not like I need it!) to hopefully hide the pads more.

I am hesitant to try those lilypadz? because I heard it's not good to keep the moisture in, can lead to infections, not convenient for long term use, and can leak too.
