Breast Pump tubes?
Lately I have been getting condensation in the tubes of my breast pump. No milk is going in them or anything.
Does anyone else get this? If not, what am I doing wrong?

Re: Breast Pump tubes?
I get this everytime in my pump. In the directions it said if that happens you should just run the pump without it on your breast with just the tubing and the machine(no bottle or shield attached to it)for a few minutes until the condensation goes away. I run it for a few minutes everytime after I use it. I have the Medela Swing.

Re: Breast Pump tubes?
I get that when the pump pieces aren't 100% dry when I start pumping (which is pretty often because I always forget to wash the pieces until it's time to pump again).
Like the PP said, just run the pump for a minute or two when you are done.

Re: Breast Pump tubes?
mine always had condensation in it...I think for me it had to do with using the washable pieces when they weren't 100% dry. I'm not at home right now to look at the directions but I believe I remember it saying to use rubbing alcohol to dry it out if running it without pumping doesn't work. HTH!

This happens to me constantly! Just run the pump a few minutes after you're done.
Or, you can detach and swing them over your head, that always helps me feel better!

Re: Breast Pump tubes?
Yes mine does. especially if i use right after i cleaned the part that attaches to the breast. I just let the pump run a bit longer after im done, it hasnt harmed the machine at all.

I always have condensation too. I just run it afterwards without any attachments.
