breastfeeding and baby weight
ladies i could really use some advice i am still 15 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight, and 25 lbs over my "normal" weight. i am breastfeeding so i know dieting is a no-no, but i have to lose some of this weight. i just feel awful about myself and NONE of my pants fit. i would love to breastfeed until at least 6 months, preferably a year, so i won't be able to diet for a long time (DS is 3 months old).
what can i do? i KNOW i should be exercising but i have no time to do that. when i get home from work i take care of DS and by the time he goes to bed i just want to crash. plus, since i work, weekends are busy with errands.
can anyone share what they did to lose weight?

I did Weight Watchers. They have a specific point plan for BFing mothers. I like Weight Watchers because you aren't really limiting what you can eat, just the amounts. My supply never dipped, even though I was losing weight.

Re: breastfeeding and baby weight
I can't help since I'm almost 9 month PP and never tried to lose weight and am still eating like I'm pregnant
I gained 59lbs but am down 57 as of Thanksgiving - so slowly, but surely.
My theory is to never start a diet until after the holidays - that's what resolutions are for

I blame the holidays for my big pg gain - had I been pg say January - September I would have only gained 30lbs, right?

Re: breastfeeding and baby weight
I did squats while carrying my DS around all day long other than that, not time for excercise!
