Non so far, and DD just turned 2, and had them in since day 1. At this point they should probably come out, but they aren't in the way, and I'm too lazy to take them out, so they're still in there....

It does not fit all cribs. I can't use it with DS' crib.
The side (ends) cannot be solid.

Same here. I tried it in my DS's crib awhile ago and it did not work. We decided to just not use any bumpers.

It worked with our crib, although it wasnt the nicest "looking" thing in the world, it still did the job.

what if your dc rolls around alot - can't they hit head on wood rails. they're not as plush?

never posed a problem for my dd...I would rather her bump her head a bit than get her leg stuck in the rails, IMHO

I agree.
I also worried about the risk of suffocation with the plush ones, you don't have that with the breathable ones. To me, she can recover from a bonk on the head.

We had to take them off at 10 months because DS realized he could tear them off (we'd hear the velcro noise in the monitor constantly and then laughing) but otherwise we loved them when we used them!

Same here, I just started it on one side and went past the solid end with the longest bumper and it ends 3/4 down the other side. Looks kinda dumb but hey, whatever works!

Same here with the plush ones.. DD has bumped her head several times b/c shes a roller.. but is okay. The problem were having is her legs are popping out the slats and getting stuck. Happened 2 times last night, thats why i wanted to know about the breathable ones before i went out to buy them.
I just picked up a set from BRU and hopefully they fit her crib.
eta: plus my dd loves to sleep at the edge of the mattress, so afraid her face will press against the plush bumper.

The risk is reduced, but I don't think it can ever be eliminated.

great another thing to worry about... she actually like to sleep on her side and likes to touch the bumper - i thinks she likes the softness?

That is not true. I know it is confusing. There are so many things to worry about these days. Here is an article and study that was done about bumpers:

OMG I love Lucas, he cracks me up
Sorry to the OP, we just used our regular bumpers, not the breathables and it hasn't been a problem!

We've been using them for 3 months, no cons, and he rolls around in his crib a lot. If he's bonking his head, it's not noticeable.

Re: breathable bumpers-- any "cons" with having on crib?
I never had any concern with my baby rolling into the hard wood sides of the crib. It's not like she's rolling at 50 mph or anything. It is slightly possible that she might bump her head and cry but I took that risk- there was no way I was using traditional bumpers. Way too potentially dangerous. We did use the breathable bumpers from about 6 months (we used nothing before then because I didn't know about the breathable bumpers) and took them out at 18 months when she started climbing out of the crib. We loved them! I would never ever risk it with the traditional bumpers.
ETA: I also never ever worried about DD "getting her leg stuck in the rails." I do not understand this concern at all actually. If it hapens, it's not dangerous, IMO, compared to using plush bumpers. Also, now that DD is 23 months old, she LOVES to sleep with her legs and feet sticking through the rails! She actually does it on purpose! Go figure!
