Bridesmaids Dress

I think I asked this before, but now I have a different question.


I am due in May and my friends wedding is in November. That is almost 6 months later. I was told, when I order the dress, I should order 2 sizes bigger than my actual size. She said that she was told that I would come in now (I am 24 weeks) they would measure me, and then order me 2 sizes on TOP of that. Does this sound right to anyone?

Yes and no... I ordered a dress for my Brothers wedding in September back when I was about 20 weeks (3rd child so I was a little bigger than you Im sure). I did order it 2 sizes bigger than I should have. I have 6 months but ifI dont loose the weight hopefully that dress will fit better than having it too small!

Did you order it 2 sizes bigger than your normal size, or did you get it 2 sizes bigger than your size at 20 weeks?

I ordered a size 2 sizes bigger than a normal BM's dress would be. So I guess it's 4 sizes bigger than my normal clothes size but really only 2 sizes bigger in the wedding world. Did that make sense

I am in a wedding 3 months after dd. They just measured me at 21 weeks added one size.
