Bringing 2 year old to non-family wake?

I want to attend a wake tomorrow, but have no one to watch my youngest daughter who is just under two years old. This is not for a family member. Is it awful to bring a young child with me? Or is it ok if she is well behaved (and I leave as soon as she fusses?)

I've done it. It was my cousin's husband's grandmother (so sort of family?)

I went in, paid my respects with him and left. No problemsChat Icon

I personally think it's fine. We have brought DS to wakes before and do our very best to keep him quiet. When he starts to get stir crazy or make too much noise we leave.
