We have two cats... one being a super friendly mush. Blu is about 2 yrs and Bella almost 1 yr... so they are both young.

Well, my mom just moved up from Fla and we need to watch her yellow lab, Millie for a few weeks/months... Milie is about 7 yrs old and has lived with a cat before.

I need advice on helping them get along!

Ever since we brought Millie into the house (she has been here since Sunday) my cats have not left our bedroom... DH has brought the food and litter box in there... yuck... we tried to bring Blu out a few times and he freaks... he has peaked his head out of the door a few times, but that is it...

Last night when we went to bed, Millie wanted to sleep near us, but DH was so concerned about the cats being in the room that he ended up sleeping on the couch so Millie wouldnt be in the bedroom scaring the cats...

anyone have any hints on speeding up this process?
