Britax on the Plane?
Someone here has taken their Britax on the plane, right?
DH is worried that it's too big.
We have the decathalon.

Re: Britax on the Plane?
You will be fine. Actually on the way to Hawaii last November, the woman who makes the Britax was sitting right next to me.

Re: Britax on the Plane?
We had the marathon, it was fine, pain in the butt to get it seatbelted to the seat, but it was fine

Re: Britax on the Plane?
It depends on the plane. A regular sized plane, no problem. A small plane, maybe a problem. We took our Boulevard on a regular size plane.
You can usually go to the airline's website and they have a list of the different kinds of planes and the sizes of the seats.

Re: Britax on the Plane?
Thanks.
We're flying Jetblue - they have pretty big seats.

Re: Britax on the Plane?
I have flown with Jeremy's Marathon on Jet Blue with no problems. I find it easiest to leave the arm up, put the seat in, extend the seat belt all the way, click it in, then tighten it. I generally leave the arm up so it doesn't interfere at all. You will need to put the car seat in the window seat so it doesn't get in the way in case of an emergency.

Re: Britax on the Plane?
We've had the Boulevard on Southwest. I think the Boulevard is the widest (or pretty close to it anyway) seat on the market. No problems.

I have the marathon and have not had a problem on the plane. I have flown Jet Blue with it.
