Britax owners
Will the car seat comfortably fit in a sedan, width and height-wise?
More specifically, Nissan Maxima SL '05...

I want to say yes, but I dont have a Maxima. When I had my Passat it fit.

I would guess to say that you wont have any problems. We have the Britax Marathon in a Geo Prism and it fits fine, both rear and foward facing

We dont ahve a maxima but we do have a infinite g35 which is probaly closer to the altima and we have the britax boulevard in their and it fits fine.
