Britax Roundabout Owners - Question
What age did DC grow out of the Britax Roundabout? How many years did you get use of it?

The average parent uses the Round-a-bout until 3 to 3.5 years. This is actually true of all 40 pound seats.
That is why when choosing a convertable seat - choose one that goes to a higher weight so you can keep a child in a seat for at least 4 years old, if not older.

We love our Britax Marathon but DC 3 is barely 30 lbs so I wonder if we would have been fine with the Roundabout... With another DC on the way we are going back and forth between both since we will use from Birth on....

I haven't used it yet, but we have the roundabout. We chose it because it is smaller and we have a smaller car, so two marathons or similar would not fit in the car.
My DC are both small (less than 14lbs at 8 months) so right now I am not really concerned with them growing out of it at an early age. If they do, we will worry about it then and get a different seat if necessary.

DD turned 4 today and she's still in the Roundabout. I know she's not 40lbs yet (but not sure how much she actually weighs) and she fits absolutely fine.
