Britney Spears is rushed to the hospital on New Years

Less than one hour after midnight, last night, Britney Spears collapsed at Pure in Las Vegas and may have been rushed to a hospital. It was reported that Britney had hosted the countdown and then retreated to the club’s outdoor VIP area. Sources say that she was talking with one of her dancers and told him she wanted to leave. She got up and then collapsed in a dead faint on the floor. Her security guards and dancer wrapped her in some poncho and ushered her out of the club.

A source said, “It appeared as if she was being dragged as she wasn’t walking under her own speed. It looked as if they wanted to get her up to her hotel room as soon as possible.”

An ambulance was summoned to the hotel two hours later, but it is unknown if that was for Britney.

That’s what hard drinking and coke does to you kids. I can’t believe the hotel didn’t crash into a million pieces when she hit the ground. Strong thunder thighs. Oh well, can’t say I feel sorry for her ***. She probably just wanted to create some attention. If she would’ve stayed at home with her kids like a good mom instead of trying to be a party girl, stuff like this woldn’t happen. Dumb a$$.

Spears falls asleep in Vegas nightclub

LAS VEGAS -
Britney Spears finally appears to be acting like a new mom. The pop princess, who recently made headlines for a rash of less-than-motherly hard partying, fell asleep in a Las Vegas nightclub early Monday shortly after leading the New Year's Eve countdown, her manager said.

"By about one o'clock, she was just done, so we took her out," Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, told The Associated Press Monday. "She was not drunk. She was just tired and falling asleep."

Rudolph denied reports circulating on gossip Web sites that Spears, 25, collapsed shortly after midnight and was carried out by bodyguards. The star was hired to host the festivities at Ceasars Palace's PURE nightclub.

Rudolph said Spears walked out of the club and did not seek medical attention.

"There is nothing out of the ordinary here," he said.

Spears was traveling with her two sons, 3-month-old Jayden James and 1-year-old Sean Preston. She filed for divorce in November from her husband of two years, Kevin Federline.

In a statement on her Web site posted earlier this month, Spears noted that in recent nights out — one in which she flashed her apparent lack of underwear to the paparazzi — she may have taken her "new found freedom a little too far."

I just saw on E!- that her rep is saying she fell asleep- which I believe about as much as I believe she is a good mother
