Britney's Son 'Fine' After Hospital Scare
(Nov. 10) -- Jayden James, the youngest son of Britney Spears, was reportedly rushed to the hospital, but despite initial reports that he had suffered a seizure, PEOPLE is now reporting the 2-year-old just had a bad allergic reaction.
PEOPLE confirms that Jayden was indeed rushed to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, but reports that it was due to an allergic reaction and that "he's doing fine," according to a source.
The PEOPLE source says Jayden was kept overnight at the hospital for "a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable." Doctors are "not sure" what caused the reaction, but the PEOPLE source says Britney and her mother, Lynne, spent the night with Jayden at the hospital.
In the initial Daily Mail report, the British paper reported that Spears took the 2-year-old Jayden to a hospital after he was "vague and unresponsive," claiming he had a "suspected seizure.
The Mail reported that Jayden became ill on Sunday afternoon, and that he was kept overnight at the for observation.
This was the first time that Britney was allowed out of California with the boys since she lost custody of them in nasty court hearings between her and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

It's so great that she's been able to turn things around. I hope they figure out soon what he reacted to. It's scary not knowing for sure.
