broadway recommendations
Any suggestions for a Broadway show? Something upbeat with singing and dancing.
I had bought tix for Grease but just found out it is closing!
Any help?

I'd recommend Billy Elliot and if you want a play August: Osage County.

When is Greae closing? 
Xanadu is a good choice but it's closing too. Spamalot is fun but I'm not too much dancing.

Xanadu closed about a month back too. A lot of stuff has been closing lately.

Xanadu closed about a month back too. A lot of stuff has been closing lately.
And i just remembered that Spamalot is closing in Jan. Oh snap!!

I want to see the South Pacific revival. White Christmas is supposed to be good too. I have heard good things about Speed the Plow but I don't know what that is about.
We just saw Spamalot and Avenue Q and loved both! Off broadway, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change was fun.

We bought tickets for Mamma Mia for my mother for Christmas. Jersey Boys I heard was great but hard to get tickets for. Mary Poppins was fantastic too..

Mary Poppins is AMAZING!
West side story is coming to Broadway, I think tickets are on sale now actuallly.
Also, 9 to 5 is coming in April. Dolly Parton wrote all the music apparently. Down side to those are that they are new so no one knows how good or bad they are?

I loved Mamma Mia. Also one of my co-workers saw South Pacific and said it was wonderful.
And I had no idea West Side Story was coming to Broadway! I'd love to see that.
