Brookhaven - clear bags only for leaves?

Brookhaven - clear bags only for leaves?
I see more clear bags at curbs than ever before
Is there a new rule?
Someone mentioned it to me in passing but I didnt get the gist of it
Anyone know for sure?

Brookhaven - clear bags only for leaves?
i know they had said you were supposed to use paper bags...but then when you go to the brookhaven website it says its voluntary...so i have no idea!

Brookhaven site says after April first you have to use paper bags. I remember getting a letter in the mail a month or so ago,

I was in Home Depot over the weekend and they had a sign next to their paperbags saying that Town of Brookhaven requires them now.

but if you go to the website it says voluntary....the thing they mailed me says you have to use paper???
