The Town of Brookhaven will hold its annual Brookhaven Country Fair Nov. 1 and 2 at the historic Longwood Estate, located off Longwood Road and Smith Road in Ridge. The fair was rescheduled after inclement weather forced its cancellation in September.

Scheduled fair activities include battle reenactments, live music, children's crafts, Irish step-dancing performances, a quilt show, craft vendor booths and lots of food. Parking and admission are free, according to a press release from the town.

Visitors are invited to bring canned dog food for donation to the Brookhaven Animal Shelter's Pet Meals on Wheels program. Donated food will be collected at the fair's main information booth, the release said.
