Brown boots, black top? No right?
Going out tomorrow night. I have tall brown boots that are comfortable---good to dance in but I only have black tops. No go right? I'll be in a club so I dont think it matters THAT MUCH..but I dont want to look silly either. Skinny jeans if it makes any difference.

I've seen it many times, it looks fine! Especially since the brown & black aren't overlapping, you've got the jeans in between.

I'm not a fan of the look. I know people do it all the time, even celebrities but personally I think it looks silly.

I agree. I know everyone says brown and black is no longer a fashion no-no, but I just can't get on that bandwagon.

i have a pair of cognac colored riding boots that i wear with anything including black and i think they compliment each other well.
but i also have a pair of almost chocolate brown boots that i wouldn't wear with black

Thanks ladies! I did it and I think it looked fine. I actually loved the way it looked which is good since I am ALWAYS wearing black tops!
