Brown rice
i was making some rice and saw a worm in it. what causes brown rice to get worms

It was probably a grain worm. They are unfortunatley fairly common. They get into boxes through tiny tears in the packaging.
Just make sure you through it out so they don't spread to everything else in your pantry.
