brown spotting and cramping at 7 weeks...
I am 71/2 weeks, and today I started having some brown spotting, like the last day of AF quality. It has been on and off, and not heavy.... Also, I have been having some ramps, not horrible ones, but pre-AF type cramps. Has anyone else had this, and is it normal, or is it a sign of bad things to come?

I had this around the same time. It is perfectly normal. If it is bothering you or you dont feel comfortable, call your OB so they can ease your mind. GL

call your doc, but I had brown spotting for 6 weeks in the beginning and everything is ok

general rule of thumb is brown blood is fine, it means its old blood. It could be left over from implantation.

I had the same thing around 6-7 weeks. The brown spotting lasted for 8 days!!  It scared the shiit outta me since it was coupled with cramping as well. I am happy to report that all was well and I am now 26 weeks along!!

I had brown spotting around 9 weeks. I've had cramping the whole time. It was nothing. you may have just irritated your cervix, but I would call your dr. anyway for peace of mind.

I also had brown spotting around teh same time and again later on. I am now 17 weeks ande doing great-try not to worry. If you want you can have your hcg tested 2 days apart to make sure it is rising appropriately

Add me to the brown spotting club. I was about 6 weeks I think and it lasted almost a week.

Have you had an exam lately? That could be it too. It is very normal though so try not to worry too much and just call your doctor.

I had it with my second pregnancy. It lasted probably almost 2 weeks. I went to the doctor and they did a sono. They couldn't find anything wrong.
Call your doctor to be safe.

Thank you for reassuring me! The spotting seems almost gone now, but the cramping still there. I will call my doc tomorrow, but I think it will be fine.
