BRU & The Babies Growing Up

Does it make you sad when you go into BRU and realize there isn't a whole lot you "need" in there anymore? I used to go there ALL the time when Emma was itty bitty. I ALWAYS needed something and loved buying all her "supplies" even if it was just spoons! Now she just too grown up for most of that stuff Chat Icon

My youngest is almost 2. I know exactly what you mean. I haven't been in BRU in almost a year, except when I was buying a gift off a registry. So sad Chat Icon

I went there for my new baby and suddenly realized that my older son could not use anything in that store and yes, it made me sad.

Re: BRU & The Babies Growing Up

YES!! I went there a few weeks ago for diapers and I found myself just wandering around aimlessly looking for something to buy for DD. I thought it was just because I had an addiction to shopping. Didn't realize it is a symptom of early empty nest syndrome. Chat Icon
