BRU Furniture

For those of you who bought your furniture from BRU, how long did it take to come in? Do they have an option to buy it and hold it in the store for you until you are ready to pick it up?

We got a coupon yesterday for 20% off entire purchase and 0 interest, 0 payments for 6 months when you open a TRU/BRU credit card and my MIL wants to get the furniture with it because 20% can add up to a lot! But the coupon expires on 12/16 and we don't have the nursery started yet.

Re: BRU Furniture

I think ours came on the next shipment, we stalled for a bit, but I'm not sure how long they would wait.

Re: BRU Furniture

It took ours about 3 weeks to come in and then we stalled for a while picking it up.
They kept calling for us to get the furniture, so I felt bad thinking it was taking up room in their storeroom. It was stored outside in a portable trailer so I didn't feel so bad when I went to finally get it (Sayville store).

Re: BRU Furniture

Mine only took a few days to come in,I asked them if they could hold it for 1 week and they had no problem with that.

Re: BRU Furniture

DH and I inquired about this a couple weeks ago. I have picked out furniture, but had not registered and wanted to make sure the pieces we wanted were not discontinued. 2 of the 3 pieces we wanted were in stock in the store, the 3rd would need to be ordered, but was told it should only take 7-10 business days as it was coming from the warehouse in NJ.
