Brunch spot in Suffolk?
I have off on V-day and DH goes in at 2pm so we wanted to go to a brunch. Any ideas? I've tried Milk & Sugar but only on a Sunday. I love Oconee's diner but we want something different. No IHOP! Was thinking Maureen's but worried it will be packed?

You may be lucky with Maureen's Kitchen on V-Day since it's a Friday. DH and I went to Jackson Hall in East Islip for brunch recently and really liked it!

Maureen's is always packed, but IMO worth the wait.
We also like JTs on Smithtown Blvd in Nesconset...

Re: Brunch spot in Suffolk?
I would just call any place that is not a traditional breakfast type place to make sure they offer brunch on a Friday. A lot of these places only do Sundays. I like Blackbirds in Sayville for brunch- it's great- but they only do it on Sunday.

Brunch spot in Suffolk?
Toast has breakfast every day. I've heard good things about Blondee's in huntington which also does breakfast daily. There's also Sweet Mama's in Northport.

I know they have a location in Centerport on Washington drive, so maybe they moved?
