brush for extremely knotty hair
My daughter's hair is thin and long. It gets knotted very easily. This coupled with the fact that she's a drama queen makes brushing a nightmare. The wet brush is not an option for us as it hurts too much for her. I also need a brush that makes her hair look neat when she brushes it herself as opposed to her looking like she's been stranded on a dessert island for 2 years!
Any suggestions?

I have curly hair but I bought a Tangle Teezer brush and it's fantastic. I use it when my hair is wet but it says you can use it on dry hair too. I have a palm-type but they have other styles.

I forget the name of it but shark tanks Lori invested in a special brush for exactly what you are describing! Maybe tangle buddy? It’s something like that, ive seen in in bed bath beyond
A wood pin brush works really well too

I find a boars bristle brush works best for my long, fine, easily knotted hair.

I have very long hair and have always used a pick to comb it out. I couldn't imagine brushing my hair with knots. That also can ruin her hair.
And I have at times, used No More Tangles. Works like a charm.
The brush that I do use is a wide paddle brush with the "stiffer" bristles.

The Wet Brush. I have long thick hair. My hairdresser introduced it to me a few years ago and I have never looked back. It’s amazing. Order it on amazon now! It’s awesome and relatively inexpensive.
