Bryans eye is swollen shut!
Bryan had what we thought was a stye because he has had them before on his bottom lashes, it caused his eyelid to be red and swollen with a sore on the bottom lash line. Last night, the swelling got worse around his eye and now the whole left side of his face seems swollen and his eye was swollen shut this morning. We are going to the dr in a few hours but do you think this is a stye? I feel so bad for him he wont let us touch it, not even to put a warm compress on it.

I used to get that. For me it was an allergic reaction to ragweed...always in fall, usually September. I needed a corizone shot to bring down the swelling. Hope he is feeling better soon.

Did you take him to the Dr? He probably needs antibiotics. If he has a fever I'd take him to the ER.
I hope he feels better soon!

I used to get a chalazion at least once a year, could be that. They don't hurt, just look ugly. Warm compresses on the eyelid does the trick.
