BTDT 2nd c-section Moms
So, this time I'm scheduled for a c-section. First time I had to have a crash-c since DS's HR dropped. They gave me a shot of adrenaline then put me out. Not fun!
At first the recovery in the hospital was hard. Getting over the anesthesia, surgery, etc. I did get lucky and lost the weight fast. I have a small scar got my stomach flat
So, here's the question. How is the 2nd c-section that's scheduled gonna be? Is it harder to get your body back? Is the surgery that bad? I don't like needles or pain, but I didn't like waking up from having a crash c either Thanks!

Re: BTDT 2nd c-section Moms
Both of mine were scheduled (as will be the one Im having Friday)
Neither have been bad at all for me, but the 2nd one was even easier than the 1st as far as recovery...The worst part with my 1st was the gas pains and since I knew about those, I made sure to take lots of gas meds from the beginning for DC #2 and that was the best thing ever...
As for getting my body back ....Yeah, still working on that

Re: BTDT 2nd c-section Moms
My first c-section was an emergency and I was put under for that. Recovery was tough.
2nd was scheduled and I was conscious for the procedure. Recovery was much, much easier!!!! Less pain overall too. I got my bod back pretty quickly.
3rd scheduled c/s was even easier and even less painful, despite a complication with my incision which needed to be seen by a nurse 2x daily for a few weeks. I lost all the baby weight and then some, but my bod is definitely not the same. (Only a surgeon can fix my problems.)
