BTDT C-Section Mommies...
I just found out that I have to have a c-section, as my baby is breech - what should I expect? any helpful words of wisdom?
Thanks

Re: BTDT C-Section Mommies...
The biggest piece of advice I have is to keep flipping from side to side when you are in bed. This gets all of the gases that build up to dissepate.
I would flip throughout the day and every time I woke up at night and I had no problems with gas - I know some girls do and from what I heard it is very painful. I would take an extra hit of painkiller, wait about 30 seconds to a minute and then flip.
Don't worry - everything will be fine! I had a great delivery and a great recovery!
If you have any questions, feel free to FM!

Get up and walk as soon as possible, that helps with the gases too, but, of course, listen to your body. It will tell you when you need to rest and when its time to get moving. Remember its all about you and the baby (let Daddy help you), don't worry about anything else. I had a great experience with a C, I hope you do too!
Good luck and congrats!
