Can anyone tell me what goes on at pre-surgical testing? I have to go friday for my scheduled c-section on saturday and I have no idea what to expect.
TIA!

Re: btdt c-sections - pre-surgical testing
Mine was just a blood test.
I will say that when I had my pre-surgical testing for my c/s, swine flu was rampant. In fact, there were people there with suspected swine flu. The nurse took me before all of them. One of the other nurses was ******, but the head nurse pulled major rank and was screaming how you never leave a pg woman with sick people in an isolated area....

I just went for mine yesterday at South Nassau. It was just paperwork, some questions and bloodwork. We there about 2 hours.

Re: btdt c-sections - pre-surgical testing
With ANY pre-surgical testing I have EVER had, not only was blood drawn, but my medical history was asked for, my surgical history was asked for and any/all reactions to any/all types of anesthesia. I would also go prepared with your health care proxy information settled.
