BTDT Hiccupy Babies?
Does anyone here remember if their DC was a particularly hiccuppy baby while still inside?
More than once a day (i woke up to it this AM) - i tend to feel Miss. Emma hiccup. I believe it's a hiccup because it's kinda like the feeling of a heartbeat, every 3-5 seconds for a span of anywhere from 1-5 minutes. At times i've felt her kick WHILE hiccupping (which just sounds FAR too adorable for words)...
I forgot to ask the doc about it yesterday, i have it on my list for my next appt....but i wanted to ask the pros anyway!

Re: BTDT Hiccupy Babies?
Yes. DD got the hiccups CONSTANTLY and I frekkin HATED it by the time I was a few weeks away from having her. It would seriously annoy me cause she got them like 4 or 5 times a day, particularaly when i was trying to fall asleep.
After my 30 hour labor and ultimate csection, they had her to my DH and what does she do?!!!??.....Gets the hiccups!!!!
I was screaming at dh I TOLD YOU in my drugged up stuper.

Jess - Samantha had constant hiccups in utero! Usually after everything I ate or drank. She still is a very hiccupy baby!

DD always hicupped in utero! 4/5 times a day! And, yes, she then hicupped a lot for the first couple of months after she was born!

Ava was the same - always had the hiccups in utero and then after she was born.
Jack never got them.

Yes my DC had the hiccups alot inside and still gets them out.
It's annoying!!! I feel bad for him when he gets them, even though they are harmless. He doesn't even like them!

same here... I could actually see her hiccup in utero and now she hiccups a lot after feedings... totally normal.. and really it didnt bother me in utero, it was usually after my after work snack or lunch, never while I was trying to sleep.. she used to sleep all night in my belly.. and has been pretty good doing that now too!!!

Re: BTDT Hiccupy Babies?
DD had the hiccups at least twice a day before birth....and she continued after birth for a while.
The doctor told me it was completely normal and doesn't bother the baby at all.

DS had them a lot before birth, and for a few months after. He still hiccups pretty easily, though definitely not very often now.

Re: BTDT Hiccupy Babies?
Emerson literally hiccuped morning, noon, and night when I was pregnant with her. When she was born..........she literally hiccuped morning, noon, and night!! She didn't outgrow that until 3'ish months. It's so cute that how she was in my belly was exactly how she was after she was born.

DS had the hiccups a lot while he was inside. Funny though, after they were born he barely gets them and DD has them often!
