BTDT Mommies... Near the end...Contractions at night?
Past 3 nights i literally dont get any sleep bc of contractions that come every 10 mins or so that leave me in excruiating pain. Lying down seems to be the worst. I tried sleeping sitting up last night and I was still in so much pain. Lost mucous plug yesterday as well.
How long can these contractions go on for before I'm in full fledged labor? I was dying to go to the hospital last night just to get the epidural. That's how severe these things are but I'm not near that 5 min mark 
Has anyone else had it this bad? What made it better? I'm almost afraid to see how intense labor is...

wow! No advice...but with my first pregnancy i remember getting some really bad cramps too..and i never went into labor on my own..
So far i've had ZERO cramiping this time around.
Hope u go into labor soon!!!
ps: Our countdown says 13 hours!!! Whoohoo..!!!

Oh man, I totally feel your pain! My contractions started at night too and sleeping was impossible. I wanted to go to the hospital too but was told no since my contractions were not that far apart yet. Unfortunately there wasnt much that gave me relief. At one point I did call the midwife and told her I couldnt take it anymore (contractions were about 7-8mins apart) she told me I could wait it out a little at home or go to the hospital for some pain meds (not an epidural yet). I chose to go to the hospital. They didnt give me any meds though  just had me bounce on a ball, take a shower, walk etc. to induce labor. 36 hours later I didnt progress more than 5cm so they gave me the epidural to get some rest (I was beyond exhausted). Hopefully your contractions start coming closer together soon. I know how painful it can be. I keep telling people the labor was 1000% worse than the delivery. Hang in there, it will be over soon and you wont even remember how bad it really was.

I don't know but keep us posted. Same thing started for me last night at 3:30. contractions (in my back only) every 5 minutes, bloody show, couldn't sleep. Now they have completely spaced out and aren't really timeable just constant crampy and I'm losing my mucous plug w/ more blood... We'll see how long this can last. Hope you make it to the finish line soon!

Update: contractions are continuing today.... Still about 10 mins apart but I feel them becoming a little more intense now
I hope to see her tomorrow for my birthday!!!
