BTDT moms - a clothng question...
I know that the NB size fits like up to 8 pounds. What poundage is 0-3 good for?
I want to buy everything I see, but don't want to be wasteful...
will be arriving mid-September, realistically, how long could I keep him in short sleeves for? We have a ton of little hoodies and sweatshirts for when it starts getting chilly.
I'm just afraid I'm not going to have any clue as to how to dress him!

I think 0-3 goes up to 12 pounds.

I think 0-3 goes up to 12 pounds.
Also, I think you can do short sleeves through Oct maybe into Nov, as long as you have little jackets/pullovers for him.

Re: BTDT moms - a clothng question...
honestly, it depends on how big your baby is.
and you really can't go by the pound markers on the clothes, either.
my son was in NB clothing for a good 2 months after he was born, WAY past 8 pounds.
i think the best thing you can do is buy a few items now in both sizes, NB and 0-3, and after that buy as you go according to what you need.

In the beginning DD was constantly in those snap up stretchies... she was an october baby and it was just so much easier than dressing her up in outfits- which are cute, but a PITA

Question about coming home outfit--why don't we want something that goes over their head?
and is it true we have to have clothes that avoid the belly button?
