BTDT moms - is my DS done with naps?
DS is about 26 months. Lately he is taking forever to fall asleep for his nap - if he falls asleep at all. UGH! Is this the end of naps?
When your DC stopped napping... what happened. Did they just stop one day? Did you try anything that helped them get a nap once in a while?
I have been trying to put him down later... but not really working.

DS has gone through phases like that. He is 30 months now. Just keep trying. After I put DS in for a nap, he has to stay in his crib for 90 minutes. I dont care if he sleeps or not he is in his crib. I figure the down time is better than nothing.
Generally DS will have a few days or even a week where it takes him forever to fall asleep and then he is back to normal!

Re: BTDT moms - is my DS done with naps?
DD was about 30 months when she stopped napping. We went through the same thing of taking forever to fall asleep at nap time or just plain refusing.
A good indication of if they are ready to drop naps or not, would be how long it takes them to fall asleep at night.
DD used to take forever to fall asleep until we dropped naps and now it takes 15 minutes or so.
