BTDT Moms - Snow Gear Question (Plese help)
Do you think it is necessary to have snow pants for a DC that will only be between 16 and 18 months in the dead of winter? I bought my DD snow pants thinking she will play in the snow in the winter but she isn't even walking unassisted yet and I imagine when she does she won't be great at it for a while. On top of that the poor kid looks like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. I don't think she could move her leg even if she wanted to. Would you return them??? TIA!!

I find that I buy the snow pants every year and she uses them once.
But, That one time........ I would keep them so you can put her in the snow and take pics.

My son will be 1 on Friday and we got him snow pants. He's been walking for about 3 weeks now though and is pretty good at it. Since you already have them, I'd keep them. If you get one use out of them they'll be worth it. Think of the fun picutres you can take!

I would buy a cheapy snow bib. Honestly even if she isn't walking well you might want to take her out in the snow or on a sled and you will want the protections. I think target had inexpensive ones last year - I got DD one from there for about $15.
