Btdt moms...? about buying nursing bras
I need more bras since I've gone up in size and was thinking since I have to buy new anyway should I just buy nursing bras so I can use after baby as well? My only concern is at 18 weeks I don't know what to expect as far as boob growth between now & after birth. Would I deff not fit the same size I am now later?

I would def not buy them now. . the sizing really is different. My size totally changed from 18 weeks until now and it changes again when your milk comes in. .
after baby you usually go up one more cup and often down a rib cage size so it just doesn't always work. .
I just bought really cheap bras at ross or tj maxx or the like and then just got my nursing bras at 37 weeks

Yes wait as long as possible. I bought 2 cheap sleep type nursing bras for the hospital then went out after the babies were born.
I went up a cup size and my rib cage went down a size or 2 after giving birth.

Don't buy them yet since you're still growing. When I outgrew my bras I went to nordstrom and got fitted. I got natori bras since the cup stretches. They lasted me until I gave birth.

I only got two for the hospital...one sleeper bra which I know will fit, and one regular nursing bra that's a size up from what I am now. I plan on investing in nicer ones after I give birth.

I bought Old Navy nursing tanks for teh first month. Once the INSANE swelling went down I went and tried on some nursing bras and found some I loved at Target.

ITA, wait to buy them. I bought two Medela bras that look like sports bras for the hospital and the first few weeks until my supply (and bra size) regulated. DD is two months old and I just ordered "real" bras!

I wouldn't buy nursing bras until you're full term or close to it. I went up 1 cup size during pregnancy and another while nursing. Some women go up several sizes.
