BTDT moms- clothing question
How did you store your DD/DS's too small clothes? I don't want them to get ruined.

Put them in plastic boxes and put them in the attic.
This is what I did and I marked each container with the size.

Re: BTDT moms- clothing question
They are in plastic totoes. I separated girl stuff from gender neutral stuff so that I can use that if we have a boy next time.

Re: BTDT moms- clothing question
I have them stored in the Pampers boxes and stacked in the bottom of their closets! I want to store them elsewhere, but DH says NO THey take up so much room, but I really should start to get rid of them. I am 99% sure we're done having kids, I don't know why I am hanging on to them.

Here too, but I should label the size!!! Good Idea Elizabeth!
I also like the idea of separating the gender neutral clothes!!! I have a new project for my list!
chmlengr - why can't you store them somewhere else?

We don't have an attic (we have a hi-ranch and its just rafters and blown insulation up there). Plus, the spot to get up there does not have a pull down ladder and its in our master bedroom closet, making it a real pain to get up there at all.
The garage, according to DH, is off limits. He says its too dirty and dusty to store anything but outside stuff and our car in there.
That's the problem with our house - no storage space!!! I need a bigger house!

I didn't know high ranches didn't have attics. I see your problem!

Re: BTDT moms- clothing question
We have them in a wooden chest in her room as well as in baskets that I keep under her crib. It's a temporary solution -- I would love to get the vacuum seal bags for something more long term.

Re: BTDT moms- clothing question
Right now the 0-6 month stuff are overflowing in a laundry basket in the floor of his closet. The other stuff that doesn't fit are still hanging in the back. His closet is really deep and long, so space is not an issue yet. I've been meaning to buy some plastic containers or those vaccuum sealed bags (seen them at Walgreens and Target).

Re: BTDT moms- clothing question
Right now they are in our guest room waiting to be stored. I have the plastic bags and I have the plastic bins now all I need is the time and motivation. Thankfully we haven't had any guests!
