BTDT moms of 2+...ped question
Do I have to let the pediatrician know that baby #2 will be arriving soon? Hoep this isn't a silly question... TIA!

When I took DS in for a well visit I let them know. If nothing was scheduled before you are due, I would give the office a call as a heads up a few weeks before you are due.

I told her at one of our well visits that she was going to have another patient soon.  She was very helpful in giving us tips for prepaing DS for a sibling.
I would just let them know because if they are affiliated with the hospital where you are delivering, they are going to have to come see the baby. And if they aren't, you will have to bring the baby to see him/her they day after you bring the baby home so they can examine the baby...that was the case with us b/c my ped isn't affiliated with the hospital where I delivered.

I kinda had to. I had Abby's 2 year visit one week before Jeremy came. Hard to miss my belly.
