BTDT moms (sports)
Anyone put their child in sports prior to 3 yrs of age...????
Rj is VERY VERY active and loves all sports... (People are floored when the see my 2.5yr old can skate and play hockey )
So far, soccer is the only "sport" Ive found that starts before 3 yrs of age...
We were in a "My Gym" mommy and me- but now that the nice weather is here,we were dragging our feet being stuck indoors every week ...
I def. wanna get him involve with swimming lessons, since he loves the pool, but other than that we are looking into tot soccer...
Im just wondering how the children did with the organized aspect of the game...
Im not sure DS will be to good at that part
Anyone know what exactly is involved at this age?

My karate school officially starts at 3, but there is on DC in there now that won't turn 3 for a few more months. DD will probably start before 3 as well.

we are looking into soccer, since DS has a lot of energy. This is close to me soccer tots
We also take swim class at the YMCA, but it's mommy and me until 3 and they must be potty trained to go into the solo class.
We have a lacrosse club here too, but I think they need to be in kindergarten to start. (my neighbor is on the board and coaches)

At that age they aren't organized at all. One kid kicks the ball and all of them go running after it.  Nobody cares, they don't yell at the kids to get back to position or anything.

My DS jiu jitsu school has a program for toddlers. They even have a free day where you can bring him to try it out.
