btdt moms who had a "breech" baby at 20 weeks....
apparently, baby #2 is breech right now....dr doesn't seem concerned since its still early, but anyone else have this?
like a neurotic person that I am, i goolged it to death but most sites said not to worry yet because the baby will prob still flip, so i guess i am looking for btdt reassurance!

The baby is in every position at 20wks. It just happened by coincidence during your sono it struck a breech pose. It really isn't even worth giving it a 2nd thought at this point.
ETA: DD was breech till 29wks.

I know when I went for a sono at 20 wks I had to go back again b/c they couldn't get all the measurements b/c she was flipping around in there

Sydnie wasn't but my friend just had baby #3 who was transverse (sideways) at 35 weeks and a week later was inposition! She was a tiny baby but still- anything is possible.

My daughter stayed breech but my son who was a Frank's breech (the bad one) moved (how I don't know) late like around 35 weeks I believe
They can still move have no worries

DD was breech most of the pregnancy and she turned around 36 or 37 weeks and I knew it!
DH's cousin, her DS turned at 40 weeks!

Emerson was breech at my Level II but she turned head down and then stayed that way at around 22'ish weeks. Don't worry about it, the baby will turn.

Mine was breeched till 32 weeks. At 20 weeks, she was all over the place doing flips

Both my babies were breech at 20 weeks. Baby #1 did not flip, I chose not to have a version, and he was born via c/s...
Baby #2 was breech until 36 weeks!! I ended up being able to have a v-birth.

my DS flipped when I was 34 weeks. he kept me up for over an hour in the middle of the night, elbows knees, you name it.that's when he turned

Mine too, DS was breech at 34 weeks but had flipped by 36 week sono.
Also DS was 9.14 and 22.5 inches at 40 weeks when he was born, so if he had room to flip almost any baby can make the flip!

Nope don't give it another thought. DD #1 was breech at that time and she flip flops a million times. DD#2 is now breech and they tell me she will turn another million times. I don't think you start to worry about it until 30 something weeks.

don't worry your baby still has plenty of time to flip. DS was NOT breech at 20 weeks but became breech and transverse at 34 weeks, he loved to flip all over the place in there!

thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone...with dd, we neevr had this (we had cpc's - water cysts on the brain...I don't know which is worse! ) and I didn't want to over react but still....you all know what goes through your mind in a moment of panic....you have all eased my fears for now!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED!!!

ds#2 was breach until 32 weeks and then by birth he was good to go. It's really too early to worry. They go back and fourth throughout this last stretch.

hannah was breech at 20 weeks and up until my water broke at 35 weeks. i knew c section was in the future though due to low fluid and gestational diabetes.

DD was breech until the end. There is a very very good chance your baby could turn at 20 weeks- that is so early still. If the baby doesn't turn, I would NOT recommend gettting an external version- go for the C.
