BTDT moms whose infants had an allergy to formula
what cereal did you feed your DC? my son's specialist said beechnut but to read labels to make sure there was no milk or soy proteins in it.im not sure what im doing. i probably wont start the solids for a month or so but needed some help.TIA

DD has a milk protein allergy. I have been giving her cereal for 3 weeks now and I started with Gerber (I didn't read the label) and she had blood in her stool again, spit up and had pains after eating. So after talking to my GI we switched to Beech Nut Oatmeal and it has been GREAT!!!!!! I did not do rice because neocate constipates her and the rice might make it worse.

I gave them Happy Bellies or Earths Best. Both have no dairy. Some opular other names for dairy are:
lecithin
whey
casein
