btdt moms...pads?
I haven't worn a pad since my first, which was 11 yrs ago! What's the pad of choice for after birth? Going to cvs tonight to pack my bag.

honestly, i really like the cvs brand overnights. they are big and thick but almost cottony so i dont feel as..ahem...damp.
i tried the always infinity ones and they are too thin- id ont find them to be that absorbent.
the ones the hospital gives you are awful! good luck!

I've heard other women on here rave about the Always Infinity pads. They look so thin, though, I'm amazed they work at all! Apparently they do keep you very dry. I've always been a fan of Always pads in general, so i figure it's worth a shot. But also just use what they give you there (unless you're being billed by the pad you use by your insurance company).

I used the Always extra heavy overnight for the first few days and moved to thiner ones in about a week.
I liked them because they are super long, pretty thick and have wings.

Glad we asked about this again, I am starting to get some stuff together now for my bag, and I have to go and buy these (just not in this massive 93 degree humid heatwave)! LOL I love my AC

Me too. I need to have the dry weave and something thing so i don't feel like i am wearing a diaper. ugh - i dread going thru that part again!

Honestly, for me the best pads were the ones the hospital gave me. I took a boatload of them home with me.

I think I'm going to bring a bag just for all the stuff I'm going to steal, lol. Well I went and got always overnights with wings, AND cvs brand overnight with wings. Regardless which ones are better, I'm sure I'll use them all. Uughh, so icky, not looking forward to that part. And I do recall liking the big hospital ones.
