BTDT or anyone with some fashion sense, newborn w older sibling pic attire?
I'm at a loss as far as what almost 2 year old DD should wear for baby #2's newborn photo shoot. The new baby will be naked or maybe in a hat but since we're I'm not buying anything special and will just use the photog's props. I don't want older DD to look too "fancy" since the baby will be naked.
What did you or would you wear on your older child for these pics? If anyone has any pics like this that they'd like to share, I'd love to see them too. TIA!

I'm not a BTDT, but I have a DD and am expecting in a few weeks. I hadn't really thought of it, but probably a pair of black leggings or another solid color, maybe mauve-y pink, and a white or gray top. Even jeans and a simple top. I wouldn't do anything with characters, really patterned, or super fancy.
ETA: I just looked on facebook at some of the more popular nb photographers and most of the older kids are wearing white tops with jeans or leggings. Check out some of their pages for ideas.

My sister did this. She has 2 boys and but them in pink Ralph Lauren button deon shirts and pants. It looked adorable. The boys were 4 and 3 when their sister was born.

I would ask the photographer for advice. Summerlyn told us PLAIN, simple outifits that won't "date" themselves in years to come. DD1 wore a light seersucker sundress for some pics and a black tank and denim skirt for the others.

I put my dd is in a very pale pink eyelet dress. It was simple but cute. My newborn dd was just in a diaper.
