BTDT-Team Green and props for newborn pictures

Today is my level 2 and I am so torn. Part of me wants to wait and part of me wants to know. We found out with DS so I want to possibly experience the "surprise" this time.

I am not so stressed aboout not having the nursery complete before DC is born (gender appropriate) and I am ok with 2 coming home outfits. It is the possibility of having a girl (which I really strongly feel it is) and not having cutesy fun props for the newborn shoot. I want fun flowery headbands and a tutu and color coordinating items. Being that a newborn shoot is time sensitive I won't have time to order them and have them arrive in time.

So what did you do?

I know I am a lunatic but these are the silly things I worry about

I actually didn't buy anything--well I bought one wintery hat that seemed more boy-ish because I was convinced it was a boy. I had a girl! My photographer (Summer Lyn) had tons and tons of stuff so I new I'd be fine either way. She had the prettiest headbands and hats.
I'd check to see if your photographer has her own supply first.

ETA: I definitely wouldn't stop being team green over the NB shoot. If you can hang in there, it's such an amazing experience in the delivery room!

team green is an amazing experience

Most photogs bring their own props and have toms of headbands and tutus

Loved being team green! It was such a good experience. The photographer we used had everything.

Thanks, ladies. I appreciate the advice. I guess I just want my own "unique" items but I can always check with the photographer. Maybe I am just making excuses to find out because I am impatient!
