Bug repellent for a 5 month old?
With the nice weather finally coming and all the BBQ's starting, i would like to do something to protect the twins from getting bit. We have the stroller netting, but obviously they wont be in their stroller the entire time we are out. So what bug repellent can we use that is safe for infants? TIA!

i don't think you can put anything on them but there is the "Off" fan.

Really? For some reason i thought there were wipes for infants. Maybe thats's just sunscreen i was thinking of. Maybe i'll try the fan. Thank you!

I'd check with your ped, but I think its a similar wait period to that of sunscreen. 6 mo old, I think?

i just did a google search...you can put it on babies but most doctors advise 10% DEET or less, but there are ones with natural oils that deter bugs. i've never put anything on my DDs (ages 1 and 3, almost).

I just bought a bottle of California Baby insect repellent.. I got it at Target.. that's really the only one I'll feel comfortable using.
